This is because RF microneedling combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy, penetrating deeper and at varying depths. Does RF microneedling actually work?

Yes. Heat + needling = collagen + elastin remodelling → tighter, smoother skin.

Great for acne scars, fine lines, mild laxity, pores, texture.

Results build over a course (usually 3 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart).

More discomfort & downtime than standard microneedling (redness/swelling 2–5 days).

Risk of PIH (post‑inflammatory pigmentation) if settings/aftercare are off—especially on darker skin tones.

Possible bruising, grid marks, small scabs; rare burns if poorly performed.

Not ideal if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Taking isotretinoin
  • Having active acne or eczema
  • Having metal implants in the area
  • Having certain autoimmune issues (we will screen you).

Collagen changes kick in over 6–12 weeks and can hold for 12–18 months.

Maintenance: 1–2 sessions a year keeps results topped up (plus good skincare/SPF).
